Social Features

Open Intranet includes social features that let you interact with content, save items for later, and engage with colleagues.

Bookmarks let you save any piece of content — news articles, events, Knowledge Base pages — for quick access later.

On any bookmarkable page, click the Add to Bookmarks button (or the bookmark icon). The item is added to your personal bookmarks list.

Access your bookmarks from the user menu:

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.
  2. Select My bookmarks.

The bookmarks page shows all your saved items. You can click any title to navigate back to the content.

On the homepage, the My Last Bookmarks widget shows your most recent bookmarks for quick access.

Many content types — including news articles — support comments. Commenting lets you share feedback, ask questions, or start discussions.

  1. Scroll to the Add new comment section at the bottom of an article.
  2. Type your comment in the text field.
  3. Click Save.

Your comment appears immediately below the article, visible to all users.

The like feature lets you express appreciation for content without writing a comment:

  • Click the thumbs-up (👍) icon below a news article.
  • The like counter increments, showing how many people have reacted.

Reactions are a lightweight way to acknowledge content and help surface popular articles.
